We would be pleased to have you select the Historic Entler Hostel for your function.

Click here to see our large meetings room (with catering kitchen facilities) and the Evey Van Ryzin Memorial Garden.

They are perfect for social gatherings, receptions, meetings and art exhibits.

                      Individuals or Businesses

 

  • $35.00 per hour (you must include setup and cleanup time) OR
  • $500.00 for Weddings & Receptions -- 9 a.m. - midnight (Porches & Garden not included in above price) Kitchen and cleaning fees are included.
  • + $125 Garden/Porches
  • + $200.00 Security Deposit (necessary to secure calendar date) is required.
  • + $50.00 Kitchen Use Fee
  • + $50.00 Cleaning Fee
 

                       Non-Profit Organizations
                     Must have a 501(c) (3) letter

  • $25.00 per hour.(you must include setup and cleanup time)
  • + $125 Garden/Porches
  • + $200.00 Security Deposit (necessary to secure calendar date) is required.
  • + $50.00 Kitchen Use Fee
  • + $50.00 Cleaning Fee

The size of the main reception room is 30' x 23'.  The front foyer is 30' x 12'

Available for your use: 7 round 48" tables, 4 - 6' banquet tables

60 folding chairs, and a large buffet serving table.

                     Also available is a wheelchair ramp for access thru the main front door
Security deposit required

Only when the Historic Shepherdstown office receives your deposit and signed rental agreement is the date officially secured on the calendar. Final rental fee is due, payable to Historic Shepherdstown, at least 30 days before the function. If payment is not received, 30 days prior to your event, the date will no longer be guaranteed and the room will become available for another reservation; your security deposit will not be returned.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • If a cancellation occurs less than 30 days in advance of the function, the security deposit will not be returned.
  • If a cancellation occurs 30 days or more in advance of the function, your security deposit will be refunded.
  • If the premises is not left in good condition, or if damages occur, some or all of your security deposit will be held to pay for damages, necessary breaking down and storing of tables and chairs or cleaning trash out of garden and porch areas.
